Paul and his family appreciate the many recreational and cultural amenities that Burlington offers, and his six grandchildren particularly enjoy the playgrounds. He is the Secretary of the Parks Foundation.

Colleen enjoys walking and biking in Burlington’s parks. She had a CPA practice in Burlington for many years and is the Treasurer of the Parks Foundation.

Following 35 years in Marketing, Lisa finished her career as the President & CEO of Special Olympics Vermont. In retirement she serves as President of the Vermont Italian Cultural Association. She has logged countless miles running on the bike path, often accompanied by one of her children on a bike.
Becky Holt
Executive Director of Vermont Story Lab
Becky is a nonprofit management and communications consultant. She specializes in helping nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individuals (youth and adults) share their stories through interactive workshops, online learning, and one-on-one coaching. Becky is also an adjunct at Champlain College in the Writing & Publishing program. She is currently completing revisions on her first YA novel.
Mike Kanarick
Manager of Customer Care, Communications, and Energy Services - Burlington Electric Department
Mike and his wife Liz Kleinberg raised three children in and around Burlington, placing an emphasis on getting the family outside to enjoy the beauty and health benefits of our natural surroundings. Mike has served the City of Burlington since 2012, first as Chief of Staff to Mayor Miro Weinberger and currently in leadership at the City’s municipal electric utility. After a decade on the RunVermont Board, Mike was glad to continue focusing on getting folks outside by working with the Parks Foundation Board and its Recruitment Committee.
Kelly Kimball
Executive Director, Rock Point Commons
Kelly is the Executive Director of Rock Point Commons, a nonprofit committed to building community around education, spirituality, and environmental stewardship at Burlington’s Rock Point property. She and her family live in Burlington’s New North End, where they are grateful for the bike path, city beaches, dog park, community gardens, and Starr Farm Park. Kelly serves on the recruitment committee for the Parks Foundation.
Gordon MacFarland

Gordon has served on the Parks Foundation board for seven years, four of those as Treasurer. He is a certified public accountant, retired from active practice but continuing to assist several nonprofits as a volunteer financial advisor. A lifelong distance runner, Gordon has authored a book on senior running. He helps with local road races and is founder of the Vermont City Marathon.
